Prague has lately been and will be a witness to performances to the biggest aces of contemporary stand up comedy: Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey and others. Daniel Sloss is a prime example of a new wave of equally focused humour selling out theaters all over the world with unprecedented ease. It all started by absolving a two day stand up comedy course in Edinburgh, when Sloss was only 16. Just a year later he has become one of the youngest finalists in a famous British stand up competition So you think you’re funny?, which is an important part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where Bailey also took part and which served as a springboard for Moran, so much beloved by Czech audiences. In his 19 years of age he’s sold out his very first show on the same festival and has become the youngest performing comedian to ever perform in Soho Theater, London. In his mere 20 years he led his own sitcom on BBC, called The Adventures of Daniel, which he also starred in. We could go on listing his successes for evermore, yet the best way to find out about Daniel’s undeniable qualities and talent is to visit his live show in person.
Come to Divadlo U Hasičů on October 28 to see one of the brightest hopes of contemporary stand up comedy!
Tickets are sold via Ticketpro for 395 CZK + fees.
