Spotlight is a mini-festival showcasing cutting-edge artists from the Czech and international scenes: a melting-pot of styles and an exchange of ideas spread across three stages. Fource Entertainment presents Akua Naru for this eclectic festival.

With the release of her debut album, ‘The Journey Aflame,’ Akua Naru has established herself on the scene as a model for what women can achieve in hip hop. The album was rated an instant classic by hip hop critics, and the single ‘The World is Listening’ went to number 1 on the US college radio charts. Naru has performed with legendary Fela Kuti drummer Tony Allen and toured with hip hop greats Lords of the Underground, as well as performing widely in the US and Europe with her own band.
