British duo Tender is coming back to Prague after last year’s successful sold out show. Their emotional synthpop will be played on May 4th in Mono Fono. Tickets for 320 czk are available via fource.cz, GoOut.cz and Ticketpro.
Two lifelong friends Dan Cobb and James Cullen started Tender in 2015. After three EPs, they have released a debut album Modern Addiction, inspired by a collapse of a long-term romantic relationship. James Cullen wrote songs about his own personal experience. While Modern Addiction often deals with the bleak realities of a love that’s fading, repeated listens offer a sense of optimism. “We want it to make people connect with each other. We want to evoke emotion. We want people to dance,” says Cobb. Last year, emotional lyrics and tender synthpop melodies enchanted audiences across Europe on Tender’s mostly sold out tour. This year, Swedish musician Kasbo released a single called Aldrig Mer (eng. Never more) featuring Tender. The band is planning another Europe tour including Prague stop.
