Just as Xavier Rudd releases We Deserve to Dream – the second track from his forthcoming tenth studio album due in March 2022 – he announces news of a massive international tour. The Prague show is scheduled for 13th October 2022.

“Life has been tuff for everyone this last few years and now more than ever people deserve to dream big. I feel like the clouds are slowly lifting and as people emerge from this time I’d like to be there with music. To host a space where people can let go and dream and move and shake off the weight of the world is very powerful and I honour that space. I feel that this 2022 European tour will be extra special”, says Xavier Rudd.

Xavier Rudd, a multiinstrumentalist with Dutch and Australian roots started making music in late 90’s. His debut album To Let came out in 2002, including the song The 12th of September, which reflected the World Trade Center terrorist attack on September 11th 2001. As a human rights activist and Aboriginal people’s rights activist, his songs often incorporate socially conscious themes, such as spirituality, humanity, environmentalism. Rudd’s first new material since the last album in 2015 is the euphoric new single Walk Away, taken from forthcoming new album Storm Boy, which showcases his incomparable songwriting craftsmanship and is an impressive addition to his ever-growing legacy. To support the forthcoming record, Rudd announces European and North American tours for 2018. Speaking about the new record and touring plans, the musician says that this is going to be a year that fans will never forget.

“I value the simple things in life,” he shrugs. “I value community, culture, our connection to the earth as human beings. I don’t care too much for the other stuff. I think the roots of who we are, and what our ancestral lines are and how those stories have shaped us are the most important things. And I guess I always celebrate those things in my music.”
