Music project Tycho was founded by American designer, photographer and producer Scott Hansen. The main style guidelines were IDM, ambient and downtempo. Sounds of classical instruments started to appear shortly after first releases and led to addition of two more musicians – bass guitarist Zac Brown and drummer Rory O’Connor. The latest album Epoch released this September is an amazing synthesis of electronic music and classical instruments. The fusion is so tight you can barely hear the difference between synthesizer and live musician. Tycho’s live performances are known for unbelievable energy so don’t miss it out.
