Gambrinus Excelent and Fource Entertainment have the honour to bring you a great show full of chilled out rhythms and carefree reggae beats if the great American reggae stars SOJA. The show of this 8-piece band, the absolute top of its genre, will take place at Lucerna Music Bar as a part of the Excelent Jukebox series on Sunday, October 5. Tickets are available via Ticketpro.

SOJA (“Soldiers of Jah Army”) was established around 2006 after their frontman Jacob Hemphill moved back to US from Liberia where his father had worked as an IMF representative. He immediately teamed up with his new schoolmate from college and later bass player of SOJA, Bobby Lee. Thanks to common passion for African roots, hip hop and of course reggae they decided to set on a musical career and before they managed to graduate, three more members – Ryan Berty, Kenneth Brownell and Patrick O’Shea joined in, too.

Altogether, they have released a total of 5 albums so far including the classics such as Soldiers of Jah Army or Born in Babylon. Latest album Strength To Survive was released in 2012. Their videos have over 40 million views on YouTube, having racked more than 3 million Facebook fans who cannot wait to see their idols back on stage. Their dream will come true this Autumn as the band are going on a European tour including their trip to Prague.
