After the sold-out show two years ago, the soul singer Selah Sue will revisit Czech Republic on the 7th of December. As the last time, she will perform at Roxy. Tickets pre-sale starts on Wednesday October 8th at 10 am via GoOut and Ticketpro.

Twenty-five-year-old Selah Sue, real name Sanne Putseys, was born in a small Belgian city. As a child, she never really thought about the idea of being a singer – not until high school. Influenced by Lauren Hill and Bob Marley, she began singing in local clubs and home-recording her first songs which she subsequently shared on Myspace. It didn’t take long and her catching voice went under everybody’s skin. Apart from crowds of fans, Selah was noticed by known producers and a star was born. She soon started working with CeeLo Green and was admired even by Prince or Stevie Wonder. Selah is one of those artists who are not afraid to float between the genres. Her songs are a cocktail of soul, funk, jazz and reggae. After a succesful debut album, aptly titled “Selah Sue”, she is now working on her second album with producers Robin Hannibal and Ludwig Goransson. A new single will be unveiled this fall and her long-awaited album released in February 2015.

Czech audience can see Selah’s live performance for the third time. After her concert at Rock for People festival in 2012, she sold out her first club gig in Czech a few months later.

Do not miss the concert of a singer, whose voice will get you to your knees. February the 7th at Roxy. Tickets can be purchased for 690 CZK.
