Glass Animals, highly regarded and acclaimed by both the critics and the public, will perform according to the original schedule. They came together two years ago in Oxford. Shortly after achieving major success with their first EP Leaflings, Glass Animals have joint forces with producer Paul Epworth (Florence and the Machine), Adele, Azealia Banks, etc.) and his label Wolf Tone, releasing a couple of singles, followed by the all new full-length debut ZABA.
By this record, the band confesses taking inspiration in Kany West, Charles Darwin, Nina Simone and even Velvet Underground. Minimalistic percussions, beats and exotic composition emphasize their exceptional talent for quality songs written by the frontman Dave Bayley, influenced by r’n’b and occasionally by hypnotic “rainforest” rhytms. Perfectly acclaimed album is usually compared to their animal brothers Animal Collective, European Alt-J or beastly Wild Beasts.
The Oxford 4-piece supported St. Vincent on their tour and even played huge festivals as Glastonbury, Bestival or SXSW. All this together make this event a highly anticipated one and a must-see for all the fans of inventive indie rock.
This show is brought to you by MeetFactory in collaboration Fource Entertainment.
