The Toronto based duo Majid Jordan, who launched their career by writing and co-producing Drake’s Hold On, We’re Going Home, are releasing the sophomore album this fall and later going on European tour with a stop in Prague. Majid Jordan is a Canadian r&b / pop duo consisting of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman who met as students at University of Toronto six years ago. They released their first joint EP titled Afterhours under the moniker Good People in 2013 and at the same year, they wrote and co-produced Drake’s Hold on, We’re Going Home. The track peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was named the best song of 2013 by Pitchfork. Majid Jordan then got signed by OVO Sound, the record label co-founded by rapper Drake, producer Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib.
Last year, the duo dropped their self-titled debut album cracking the top 10 on the r&b charts. Their highly anticipated sophomore record The Space Between is out on October 27 and will feature other OVO members – PartyNextDoor or dvsn.
