Indie electro-pop band Is Tropical returns to Prague in March. They travelled the world so as they could now release their third album Black Anything. Experience from five continents on five vinyl records to be released one by one. They will put this puzzle together on 31st of March in Rock Café. Tickets will be available from Friday, 16th of January at 10 am.

The band started to compose their first songs in 2009. Shortly after, the trio consisting of Dominic Apa, Gary Barber and Simon Milner, signed a contract with a legendary French label Kitsuné where they released their first two studio albums. They toured the UK and Europe as special guests of Klaxons, Mystery Jets or The Big Pink and also co-headlined a tour with Egyptian Hip Hop. After Native To and I’m Leaving albums the band prepares their latest release Black Anything. The album was produced by Luke Smith who earlier cooperated with Foals or Depeche Mode. So far, the fans could only hear the first one of the five-part project. The first piece is called Crawl/On My Way and it is the tribute to the journey across North America.  Recently, the band underwent two changes – they signed to New York based independent label Axis Mundi and introduced Kirstie Fleck (singer of 2013’s Dancing Anymore) as a full-time member of a band.

Do not miss Is Tropical and their catchy and eccentric electro-pop and come to Rock Café.
