Irish stand up comedian, actor and filmmaker, Dylan Moran (41), star of the British sitcom Black Books, is coming for the first time ever to Czech Republic to present some of the best of stand up comedy. The show is part of the international Yeah, Yeah tour and takes place on Sunday, May 12th at Prague’s Divadlo U Hasicu. The tickets are available for purchase through Ticketpro network from April 18, noon.
“Moran is an absolute master of comedy, his witty observational allusions intertwined with his unmistakable appearance make many cry – laughing, of course. It is a great honour for us to introduce Moran to Czech publics. His mastery of stand up comedy sits him on top of the comedy throne. Just for his popular sitcom Black Books, he’s received two BAFTA awards,” said one of the representatives of the promoting agency, Fource Entertainment.
Moran is originally Irish, but he’s lived for years in Edinburgh. He tours nearly every year with his observational comedy store internationally. Among the most popular works of his are Like, Totally; Monster and What is it. Czech Republic will see him present his most recent comedy gig: Yeah, Yeah, which teases wide spectrum of topics: family, ageing, alcoholism, crazy kids, food, laziness, politics, sex – anything what makes Moran happy or insane. “The show is all in English with no interpreters. Tickets for last Moran’s tour were sold out overnight, so we definitely recommend booking your tickets on time,” informed the promoter.
