Desire is the Montreal-born synth-pop group created by vocalist Megan Louise and producer/composer Johnny Jewel. Since emerging from the underground in 2008, the band has built a singular universe of neon romance, cinematic longing, and midnight glamour — where heartbreak shimmers beneath disco lights and every song feels like a scene from an unfinished love story.

Their breakthrough anthem Under Your Spell, immortalized in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive, became one of the defining songs of the film’s era and introduced Desire’s dreamlike world to audiences across the globe. The band’s influence quickly expanded beyond cinema into fashion and nightlife, with their music echoing through campaigns and runways for Dior, Chanel, Max Mara, and Bottega Veneta, while artists including Kid Cudi famously reimagined their work for Teleport 2 Me.
