Cigarettes After Sex is band around singer Greg Gonzales based in Brooklyn, New York. They released four song debut EP named I back in 2012 and than stayed silent for long time. The new EP called simply II was released after multiple line-up changes in November 2015. Cigarettes After Sex music is based in the most famous period of Hotel Chelsea. Yes, Hotel Chelsea where Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Leonard Cohen and many others lived. Dreamy pop with cigarettes like taste and noir atmosphere became trademark for the band. Cigarettes After Sex music is hard to describe based on time limited periods. It’s roots are in the best tradition of late 60’s pop music yet it’s full of new and up to date tendencies and influences.
