Childish Gambino returns to the global stage with The New World Tour

Childish Gambino is set to take the global stage once again with The New World Tour. Alongside The New World Tour announcement, Gambino surprised fans with the release of Atavista (3.15.20 reimagined versions).

Additionally, he dropped the official music video for Little Foot Big Foot, directed by Hiro Murai, featuring Young Nudy. The European/UK legs of The New World Tour kicks off  in Lyon, Childish Gambino will come to Prague Nov 12th. Amaarae is confirmed for Europe/UK as a support act.

Glover released his most recent Gambino album, 3.15.20, in 2020. He originally uploaded an unfinished studio album to the website donaldgloverpresents.com. As Glover notes in his statement, most of the songs on Atavista are polished versions of those same songs. He also adds, “There’s a special vinyl coming soon w/ visuals for each song. The all new childish gambino album comes out in the summer.”

Since dropping 3.15.20, Glover has worked on a number of film and television projects: his acclaimed FX series Atlanta concluded, he executive produced the Prime Video series Swarm in 2022, his remake of Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Maya Erskine dropped this year, and he’s been tapped to develop his upcoming Disney+ series Lando into a feature film
