Pat Grossi, American DJ and producer performing under stage name ACTIVE CHILD is coming to show Prague some of his greatest mixes for the first time ever to Chapeau Rouge on October 17. Tickets are available through Ticketpro network.

“Music of Active Child is a very pleasantly sounding, inovative mix of electronic music, dreampop and new wave. We can’t wait for him to show his timeless music to Prague,” said one of the representatives of the promoting agency Fource Entertainment. Active Child’s popularity is on the high rise now, with many music critics praising his work. He recently supported the huge French electro-pop band M83 or the popular British singer James Blake. Active Child’s cover-version of Ellie Goulding’s Hanging On is immensely popular as well.

The American DJ is about to publish his debut album on August 23, titled You are all I see. According to his own words, the album is a bridge between himself and his audience – he sings about the joyous and the dark parts of love-relationships, fight with self-identity, with monogamy. The album’s sound is going to be a lot darker, than what the DJ initially thought, heavily drawing on the sound of the eighties, drum-n-synths, hip-hop or even r’n’b.
